Independent Project Analysis (IPA) announced today that Carlos Flesch has assumed the role of Regional Director of Latin America
. Carlos is responsible for continuing to strengthen IPA’s relationships with clients in the region while developing and improving the effectiveness of their capital project systems.
Carlos joined IPA in 2007 when IPA’s Curitiba, Brazil, office
was founded. As a Project Analyst, he led project and system evaluations in the region across multiple sectors, in addition to conducting workshops and IPA Institute
courses. His work as a client coordinator and as co-manager for the Mining, Minerals, and Metals business area
has facilitated the development of capital project systems for key clients in Latin America. Most recently, Carlos had served as the Regional Operations Manager of IPA’s Curitiba office, where he was responsible for managing both the day-to-day and long-term operations, including staff development.
Carlos graduated from the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Paraná in 1998 with a degree in industrial electrical engineering. The following year, he completed his post-graduation at Faculdade de Administração e Economia de Curitiba, with a specialization in industrial management. In 2006, Carlos received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
