IPA Bringing IBC Back to Europe

Released on Thursday, April 14, 2011

As was done in past years, IPA will host a version of the Industry Benchmarking Consortium (IBC) in Europe. This year the conference will focus more on region-specific issues than in the past, so we have named this conference IBC EMEA. The conference will be held at the Dorint Hotel Amsterdam-Airport, The Netherlands, from May 11 to 13, 2011. For general hotel information, please visit http://www.dorint.com/en/hotel-amsterdam-airport.

IBC EMEA will bring together companies that have executed projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Russia. The participants will include company business representatives, project managers, and engineers as well as other project team members. Please note that there is no limit on the size of the delegation from each company.

The agenda includes large and small project practices and metrics as well as studies related to the EMEA region. Topics to be discussed include cost estimating, organizational effectiveness, and research to be done for IBC 2011.

IBC 2011 was held from March 28 to 31, 2011, in Dulles, Virginia, United States. The IBC provides an independent forum for each participating company to view its performance against that of other companies. The research presented at each conference identifies Best Practices for improving capital effectiveness. During the conference, participants learn ways to advance specific elements of capital project execution by attending presentations and joining smaller discussions. Please note that this conference is open only to participating IBC member companies.

For more information and to register for the conference, please visit IBC EMEA.
