INTRODUCTION

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client-interfacing work to collect and analyse project technical data and uncover areas of risk
  • Apply statistical analysis using quantitative and statistical data to quantify your findings
  • Write reports to provide insight and recommendations for clients
  • Deliver verbal (virtual or in-person delivery) presentations to technical and business audiences
  • Work collaboratively with capital project teams and organisations to improve client competitiveness
  • Conduct research on the drivers of project success and failure using statistics and IPA’s database
  • Travel internationally to our Clients and other IPA offices on a regular basis including the USA

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Masters preferred or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, science (physics, chemistry, petroleum, geology), statistics, operations research, economics, or allied fields
  • 1 year of experience in Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS)
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year relevant experience operating in your field of education
  • Proven record of carrying out independent research
  • Proven record of using a variety of statistical methods to analyse large amounts of data

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES

  • Demonstrable superior English language written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel functions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to successfully liaise with people from other cultures
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and report writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and organisational leadership
  • Additional languages beyond English would be advantageous but not essential
