KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client-interfacing work to collect and analyse project technical data and uncover areas of risk
- Apply statistical analysis using quantitative and statistical data to quantify your findings
- Write reports to provide insight and recommendations for clients
- Deliver verbal (virtual or in-person delivery) presentations to technical and business audiences
- Work collaboratively with capital project teams and organisations to improve client competitiveness
- Conduct research on the drivers of project success and failure using statistics and IPA’s database
- Travel internationally to our Clients and other IPA offices on a regular basis including the USA
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Masters preferred or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, science (physics, chemistry, petroleum, geology), statistics, operations research, economics, or allied fields
- 1 year of experience in Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS)
- Preferred minimum of 1 year relevant experience operating in your field of education
- Proven record of carrying out independent research
- Proven record of using a variety of statistical methods to analyse large amounts of data
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES
- Demonstrable superior English language written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel functions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to successfully liaise with people from other cultures
- Excellent listening, presentation, and report writing skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and organisational leadership
- Additional languages beyond English would be advantageous but not essential
