Survey: Sustainability Trends in the Life Sciences Industry
Independent Project Analysis (IPA) has launched a new sustainability survey to understand how life sciences companies are addressing the sector’s environmental impact—specifically around decarbonization, water, and environmental resource allocation. IPA is seeking to understand how companies are translating their sustainability targets, objectives, and practices relating to these dimensions into project specific requirements. We invite you to complete the survey by December 16, 2024 if you are interested in seeing how your company’s strategies compare to the rest of the industry. The survey should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
IPA will share the results of the survey with all participating companies via webinar, which will include opportunities for Q&A and practice sharing. The survey results will provide unique insights into industry trends and strategies:
- What strategies are driving decarbonization in the sector?
- What are the sector-wide trends on target setting and budgeting for decarbonizing through capital projects?
- What categories of Scope1, 2, and 3 emissions are in focus as companies align with new sustainability requirements and reporting frameworks?
The scope of the survey extends from setting business objectives to specific project outcomes aligned with capital investment. Section 1 addresses Carbon and Energy, including LEED requirements. Section 2 contains questions on Capital Budgeting Practices.
