Hunter serves as a Quality Manager at IPA’s headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia, USA. In this role, he is responsible for monitoring/reporting client feedback, monitoring the internal work processes, and identifying deviations and needs for change and improvement. Hunter also leads the training effort for new analysts and is a member of the IPA Review Board.
Prior to filling this role, Hunter was a Senior Project Analyst at IPA. During this time, he co-led the development of the Turnaround area at IPA. He led risk evaluations for many projects and turnarounds and corporate benchmarkings. He was also the principal investigator for several research studies. In addition, Hunter teaches IPA Institute courses and has designed new courses for both public audiences and individual companies. Before joining IPA, Hunter worked in the pulp and paper industry for four years as a process/small project engineer.
Hunter holds a BS in Engineering Science from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia.
